After several months away from the blog, I finally was able to get some much needed hardware to update my server. If you have been following me, you know that I had a Synology DS212 hosting my website along with a few other tasks I could get it to handle. It did a fine job at the “other tasks” but seemed to take a little long for this site to load. Naturally, I decided to throw money at the problem and upgraded to a much larger device from the same brand that I would like to think is more capable of the task at hand.

I am still cooking up ideas for some new/better content, but I would consider myself halfway back to adding more content.
