Pretty much everyone has a cellular phone these days which means a few different things to me:

1. When you call someone, they know who called even if you don’t leave a voice mail, or at least the number that called.

2. Unless you are getting onto a plane, driving into northern Minnesota, investigating a mine, or going to die there isn’t a good reason to leave a voice mail because the person can call you back.

3. If I don’t answer my phone, its because I am talking to someone else or busy… no need for voice mail I will call you back shortly.

These may make you feel like I hate voice mail and find it unnecessary… which is true. In between needing to call voice mail and getting endless notifications until I do odds are I would rather not get your “important” message.
