It has been a while since I have actually sat down and watched any professional Minnesota sports team and that is because I find it rather hard to get too dedicated to teams that struggle and often are statistically eliminated from the playoffs mid-season. After listening to the pregame commentators and the ones during the game it became very easy to see that consistently there was a thought or hope that the Vikings wouldn’t/couldn’t win. Yet, throughout bad mouthing the Vikings throughout the game they continually noted individual players doing good jobs. Due to the 3-1 start and getting the Monday morning quarterback angle, I am going to bet that the Vikings will make it into the first round of the playoffs this year as long as no one gets their hopes too high.
Anyone else notice the negative feel by the commentators about the Vikings being capable of winning? Do you think they are going to go anywhere with this great start to their season or are they going to be consistent and blow it in the clutch?
