I seem to be bringing the hate on a a lot of things lately, I decided to continue this trend this Saturday morning. Earlier this week I was complaining about new storm naming techniques to make the weather seem more relevant. Maybe this storm on the east coast that they have dubbed “Frankenstorm” is going to turn into something, and maybe it won’t. I don’t think there is any need to give it a dumb name or convince us in the Midwest (that are preparing for winter!) that we need to feel sorry for people with ocean side homes still receiving “tropical” storms.

Do you care about weather that isn’t even occurring here or affecting us? Heck, it hasn’t even set foot in the United States yet, but every major news station seems to care even though I don’t. Or is the Halloween pun worth it?
