The Bagster.

Empty.

After doing several small repairs of the house over the last several years I came a crossed the problem of lots of dated trim, little misshapen pieces of drywall, and several random items like pipe and window panes. Normally, I liked to think “hey maybe I can use this on another project” or maybe somebody I know will need this. Then I realize this isn’t the case and I am wasting valuable space in my house with these random construction supplies that could easily be replaced with $100 bill and a trip to the local hardware store.

To get rid of this junk, I decided to go with a fairly new way to get rid of this stuff (at least for me) and get “The Bagster” which is a 3 cubic yard plastic bag (pictured) that costs roughly $30 to buy, then another $50-$130 to haul away once you have put all the stuff you don’t want in it. There are different prices for home construction or mixed waste so its something to pay attention to before you fill one up.

Full.

For me, it worked very slick, due to online coupons and being able to pick the day that I wanted to drag my unwanted construction stuff outside. I find it to be a much better alternative to a construction dumpster because it costs 75% less and doesn’t require any permits if you play your cards right. Spring cleaning? I’d rather get rid of all this stuff, so I don’t need to spend all winter with it.
