Church Billboards.

Growing up and living in Minnesota most of my life I am used to seeing homemade or even professionally done billboards trying to sway my view on a issue that may deal with religion. On my way to work, I noticed something new at least in my book, an billboard for a church of Scientology… in addition to that it was on possibly the most expensive billboard rental space in the state (I-35E/I-94). I wouldn’t expect to see this from what I would deem a “regular” Minnesotan church that has been in the state for a hundred years or more so I was a little taken back to see if for a newer more controversial church.

On the other hand maybe, they were successful in their goal with me returning home and watching a video with lots of local politicians praising them in awkward sounding statements at their grand opening. Do you think that billboards are the place to be introducing/encouraging people to go to your church or do you think it isn’t the “Minnesota Way”?
