I don’t always eat at Culver’s, but when I do I get the kids meal. Who ever I happen to be with on the trip seems to agree and be somewhat excited about joining “team scoopie“, yet 90% of them chicken out and order some sort meal in the $7+ range that requires another $2-3 bucks for a scoop of ice cream.
I discovered the awesomeness of a kid’s meal at Culver’s quite early after they came to my town while I was growing up, and it’s hard to beat a meal that consists of a cheese burger, fries, a soda…. and usually a giant scoop of ice cream for around $5. Some of the cashiers seem a little bothered when I order one, but most of the time they like to see me out smart their “snackpak” which is the same meal for a dollar less without ice cream.
Are you too much of an “adult” to order a kids meal to save a few bucks and get the right size meal? Or like me do you have no shame?
