If you are under 40 your probably remember playing a game called Lemonade Stand in elementary school that involved all the ins and outs of running a lemonade stand with usually the biggest factor being the weather. With the recent temps jumping into the 90s and it being summer time, you would think that there would be a few kids looking to make a quick buck off of some suckers* driving by in their cars.
On the other related note, with the temperatures reaching into the 90′s one sort of business is picking up, if you dare call it a business. In the last 2 days, I have seen a pan handler on 4 or the 6 interstate exit ramps that I have used. Are people more likely to feel pity and give money to a person holding a cardboard sign with a little magic marker on it if it is hot out? I am not 100% sure, but summer is definitely here.
Do you miss kids trying to pedal lemonade or kool aide or does this still happen a lot just not in my neighborhood? Also have you noticed a drastic increase in the metro area of pan handlers? Let me know your thoughts on either matter!
*By suckers I mean adults that will eat food prepared by children and expect not to get sick.
