White House Correspondence Dinner.

I am not sure what happens at the White House Correspondence Dinner, or when it is actually held, but it does seem that every national news organization needed to report that it did happen then proceed to give their views of people in attendance. It pretty much comes off to a laugh and joke party, to let everyone know what “celebrities” support various politicians and their agendas which brings me to my questions of the day.

Do you think that the President should ever publicly make light of things such as the killing of Osama Bin Laden or issues with in the Secret Service?

Does gathering the media + politicians + hollywood mean that even with an absence of a story is worth being reported by every media outlet?

  1. I do wonder about the Secret Service jokes. I mean, they are supposed to protect his life and the life of a lot of other politicians.
